Friday, March 8, 2019 – “Just Desserts and the Music in Me”- 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. (Venue: Salem Baptist Church ) At this annual event, individual SYDC students will entertain you while you enjoy a beverage and a delicious homemade dessert.
Parents and friends of SYDC also donate items for our yearly silent auction. We appreciate any items you may donate form home or items you may be able to have donated from a local business.
In addition, each year, several of our SYDC families purchase an old kitchen chair from a garage sale, decorate it with a theme of a favorite Broadway musical and donate it to us. We then use it as part of our silent auction. I cannot begin to tell you how much talent our students and families have. The chairs are beautiful. (You may simply bring the finished product to the event when you come, and we will tag it for the silent auction.) Can’t wait to see what you create!
(Remember, we need everyone to bake an item for us.) We hope to have a large crowd! This is a great event which showcases our kids! We encourage you to start now and invite your relatives, neighbors and friends. Guests pay at the door. Cost for this event is $5.00.
